Food & Travel

Food i drool over and places i dream about.

Tatsu-Ya – Chashu Rice Bowl: this place is known for its ramen but honestly, I could totally pick this over the ramen and that’s saying a lot.
Austin, Texas
Tatsu-Ya, – Mi-So-Hot Ramen: I LOVE a bowl of spicy ramen and this was pretty good.
Austin, Texas

Club Sandwich – Trashcan Rice Bowl: half salad, half rice, shredded sweet pickled carrots, fresh cucumber, onions and cilantro, w/ chicken bulgogi and lemongrass pork, and a mix of cilantro lim and sriracha ranch sauces. Y’all, i could eat this every. single. day. It’s a huge portion but if you want, they’ll refill everything but the meat for free or you can add meat for just a couple dollars.
Waco, TX – Magnolia Market
Silos Baking Co. – I am super picky about cake and I LOVE cake. This is by far the best I’ve had and the chocolate buttercream has the best flavor.
Waco, TX

The Salt Lick – This really may be the best BBQ I’ve ever had and the place has such a great vibe.
Driftwood, TX – Not far outside of Austin, definitely worth the drive!
Saratoga Tea & Honey – This is a little shop that carries all kinds of tea but then there’s a room at the back that has a big selection of honey. You can taste test pretty much any of them. My favorite is the mango infused. It makes the perfect boost to a good cuppa.
Saratoga, NY
Pawley’s Front Porch – One of my favorite burger places ever. They were actually featured in an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri. They’re huge and packed with flavor. I can never resist fries but honestly, I love their sweet potato fries over the regular.
Columbia, SC
The Woodlands Waterway – This is one of my favorite spots to walk, especially at sunset.
The Woodlands, TX
Hilton Head Island – My first time going to HHI was Feb. 2020 and it immediately became a favorite spot. I don’t know what it is but I absolutely love the place and it’s absolutely beautiful.
Hilton Head Island, SC
